I’m so excited to announce that I am a finalist in the Bruegger’s Bagel $10,000 Artist Challenge! Below is the link to the Facebook page for the contest. I could win free bagels for a year, money, and a huge display for my art! I am so excited. Umm, bagels for a year? Yes please!
Jesus Jessie J!
Just discovered an incredible performance by Jessie J. at the Live Lounge. I can’t get over her control and vocal agility. It’s beautiful.
Jurassic World? Yes, Please.
Ah-ma-zing! I cannot wait to see the new Jurassic Park……………..but I have to. It is cruel and unusual punishment to flash details about the production on the film and then drop the bomb that it doesn’t come out until June 2015. From what I’ve read, the movie will center around the dinosaurs of the sea. Um………AMAZING! It’s like my two favorite movies (Jaws and Jurassic Park) had a baby in the form of an awesome movie that isn’t going to be a Saturday night Syfy original. Does anyone remember “Shartopus”? In other words, it’s going to be bitchin’ so I’m sure it will be worth the wait.

Rivers Monsters and Lobster Beetles
Okay, so it’s been a while since I’ve posted. That’s because the gloom and doom of Minnesota weather had temporarily stolen my soul and ability to function. Fear not, my friends! For redemption has come in the form of a new season of River Monsters. Oh, just another interesting fella, Jeremy Wade, keeps me intrigued with his expertise in his field. I am super excited to see what kind of creeps he encounters in the brackish and fresh waters of the world. If you haven’t watched it I highly recommend that you view the episode titled, “Demon Fish”. It’s the most ridiculous fish you’ll ever see. Speaking of ridiculous……… Kitchen Nightmares has been delayed due to some bogus lawsuit by Amy whoever from Amy’s Bakery claiming sexual harassment by the great and powerful Gordan Ramsey. Ummmm……… this is highly unlikely due to reality. In my delightful artistic quests I have a few pieces to put up online and a few sculptures. Of course they are creepy, but I am loving exploring the three dimensional world of sculpture. One that I’ve done is based on a recurring nightmare I have of a giant lobster-esque beetle. It’s giant, evil, and disgusting. I love it.
River Monsters premiers on Animal Planet on Sunday, April 6th!
