Resurrections

So today marks a beautiful moment in life…. I got to take my bike out for the first time in what seems like a decade. It was about fifty degrees and I got to resurrect my soul and faith in the universe. Oh, and speaking of resurrection, I watched the pilot episode for ABC‘s new show “Resurrection” and it was amazing! The show is centered around the idea of people who were believed to be long-since perished showing up without aging at all. Imagine that you lost a child when you were in your 20’s and that same child showed up thirty years later…. still an eight-year-old child. How would that unexplainable miracle affect your life? Would it be a blessing, as  you have your child back? Or would it be a burden as it would be too difficult to process? These questions and more are brought to the forefront of this compelling drama, underscored beautifully by the compositions of a Mr. Blake Neely. I’m excited to see the next episode which airs Sunday nights at 8/9 c on ABC. I highly recommend it. Oh, and I’m working on a BITCHIN’ sculpture of an insect right now. I love the 3-dimensional freedom gifted by the god of sculpture!
